Prêmio Educador Nota 10

The largest and most prestigious award in Brazilian Basic Education
In a country marked by social inequality, education should be a priority. Unfortunately, educators continue to face significant undervaluation. It was within this context that, in 1998, Brazil’s largest and most prestigious education award was created: the Educador Nota 10 Award. Designed to recognize and celebrate teachers and school leaders, the award has received more than 84,000 submissions, honored over 270 educators, and granted more than R$3.3 million in prizes. Today, it is part of SOMOS, Brazil’s largest basic education group.

For this new chapter of the award, the goal was to place educators even more firmly at the center of the story, highlighting their impact on students while creating a flexible visual system built around celebration and recognition. Key elements include the circular graphic device that places educators at the center of every composition, human-centered photography enhanced by vibrant colors that convey a contemporary and optimistic perspective, and a cohesive visual language designed to shine a light on one of the most important issues facing the country.
