The challenge behind this project was an exciting one: developing the brand strategy for an entirely new product category, the Beer Maxx One, a high-performance home beer cooler and a dream product for Brazilian beer lovers. After all, until recently, ice-cold beer was something you could only find in the best bars and neighborhood pubs.
Through innovation workshops and design thinking sessions, we mapped the customer journey and uncovered the motivations behind drinking beer at home. These insights shaped the brand’s communication strategy and tone of voice, which were expressed consistently across every brand touchpoint.
We created the naming, brand positioning, brand strategy, visual identity, and verbal identity for Metalfrio’s first product designed for end consumers. Metalfrio is the largest manufacturer of commercial beer coolers in Brazil, with products present in 90% of the bars frequented by Brazilians.
